The home furnishing company started as a small steamfitters shop in a basement, today we provide home furnishings from 70,000-sq. ft. warehouse in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The company grew step by step. During the initial days we catered for plumbers, engine builders and millers, throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and the Dakotas. Then electrical goods for wholesale was added, a radio department was created to sell tubes and other parts, and in 1938 refrigeration department was added.

W.A. Roosevelt Company has always been a store with a vision. We were the first to use the not so common computer, and in 1999 started the eSales Center. It definitely made things easier. We continue to keep pace with changing technology to provide you with the exceptional service at every contact.
